Los Angeles Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis Therapist
I work with a diverse population of adults, adolescents and couples. In fact, I’m known as someone who is interested in cross-cultural issues, and have published a paper on the experience of sameness and difference within the therapeutic relationship. I’m comfortable and enjoy working with those who identify in a variety of ways related to gender, sexuality, race, and religion.

I have extensive experience working with people who have suffered from abuse and trauma, as well as loss and grief. And for a number of years, I worked at a residential treatment center for anorexics and bulimics. (See my blog post on eating disorders if you’re interested in how I understand these complex issues).

I originally trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and I still do quite a bit of therapy for couples.

Here’s a list of some of my other interests and specializations: Depression, Anxiety and Panic, Loneliness, compliance and accommodation, Intimacy and relationship difficulties, perfectionism, shame, self-esteem and self-blame, conflict avoidance.

Lastly, I have extensive experience doing clinical supervision for both pre-licensed and post-licensed professionals.
